My Daughters are 10 years apart. My older sister and I are 10 years apart.
I find it no small comfort to know that even though it may take a while for these two to connect eye to eye like my sister and I finally did when I went to college, it will happen, and my daughters will enjoy each other as sisters even though right now their interests are wide apart and will be for a long while. Here's to family. :)

Sher and I are 14 years apart, and it took a while to not feel like I was her daughter (I was asked that alot when I'd go shopping with her as a kid), but I love spending time with my sis! :)
I LOVE this post! Of course I take it personally, but it brings back a lot of memories...
It also makes me a touch sad that my daughter never got a sister. She'll have to rely on getting great sisters-in-law!
I'm grateful we can be such great friends now!! LOVE you!
