And here's Gideon makin' a run for it!
I've been busy with snow, school, kids home from school because of snow, Christmas prep, more snow, Christmas eve snow, Christmas activities, Christmas day snow, Christmas day, Christmas day dinner, after Christmas snow, and all the wet shoes, pants, gloves, hats, floor, and hot cocoa that that snow play requires.
Its really been a blast! I love it like this. So I've been off having fun and not blogging... so I'm making up for past neglect here.
So when I say we have lots more snow I MEAN it.
I think this picture was taken at 11 inches... Last night we were up to 22 inches, and it has been snowing all day. We have had to park down at the bottom of our driveway because it is too steep to climb up in 2 wheel drive. When Brian and Tiffany and family arrived on Christmas eve we got our 4 wheel vehicle again...They had been borrowing it to tow a trailer, and on Christmas day Dan and Brian worked for hours unburying one of our 'other' vehicles and tuning it up so it would drive again so now our options are more open then they've been in a week.
SO! Last night Tiff and I braved the roads and went to see Twilight...

Though I have been a little put off by bad examples she has in the book, I really, really enjoyed the movie. But then I've always been very into the forbidden-love-fraught-with-tension-and-turmoil. What can I say? I'm a total romantic! I really liked their picks for actors, (they are supposed to be teenagers remember.) and Edward's EYES! Yes,... they make me melt.
Sorry Harlene, I really can't help it... ; )

I LOVE your snow!!! Wish we could have some of it, but alas- it's about 80 and 65% humid- kind of sticky today, but no sun, so it's just oppressive, but warm- what am I complaining about? Except it's winter! And I LOVED Twilight movie, too. Saw it at the midnight showing when it came out.
No Christmas snow in Frankfurt this year, but we're enjoying Tabernacle Choir Christmas music, and what you have posted on your blog. we just turn it on and enjoy it until it stops. We sure enjoyed the pictures of the big-eyed generation. Reminds me of my younger days - we always had farm chores until it was dark in the winter, so we'd go out after supper and start a fire and slide down the hills until the fire died out. That was on toboggans with two to four kids each trip. We were usually pretty wet when we got home, but we survived. Never got on a pair of skis.

Dang! Can you say, SNOW? That's crazy. As for the movie, I can't believe I waisted ELEVEN dollars to see that movie. Of course books are always better, but that movie was like low budget or something. Hated the music, all the camera spinning, Edward (the actor)- did you see him on Jay Leno? He is seriously LAMO,there was no dialogue between Bella and Edward, thier relationship in the movie was totally unbelievable. They left out a ton of the book and added things that weren't even in the book. It was fun going with friends and the whole build up of the movie though,and I did like Bella (the actor for her). (Don't want to be too negative about it) Needless to say, didn't like the movie. Next one I'll wait till it comes out on video. K, so is this the longest comment ever or what? Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Happy 2008!
There's no accounting for taste:)
Your forgiven:}
