I made this the other night and I'm still basking in the happy aftertaste.
I'd never had real "Indian" food till maybe 3-4 years ago and found I relish it! Had the hankering for some the other night and decided I was gonna make it, I looked online for recipes went shopping and found I could get everything at my local grocery store (I was amazed.) The recipes didn't look that tough, but just prove myself I made the hardest (and most authentic) recipe I could find, so next time I know I can do any level of difficulty.
So I marinated the meat over night and then in the morning I made the Naan bread dough and let it rise all day, then in the evening I broiled the meat, then chopped, toasted, pureed, mixed, and cooked the sauce. I shaped and baked the naan and finally after almost 24 hours it was done. The rice was the easiest part.
It took some work,
but lemme tell you,
it was WELL worth it.
Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm.
(next time I'll be doing the 1 1/2 hour version, cause I know just what shortcuts I can take!)
