About a month ago I noticed that the 7th of Aug was a full moon.
I noticed it cause the 7th is my preferred day to give birth. It's 10 days early as to my Ultrasound due date, 11 to my actually due date, (all three of my other kids were 10 days early exactly), and I just like the idea of 08-07-09 OR if you do it the European way...07-08-09.
And if that is the birthdate it will likely be a girl, as both Claire and I have numerically interesting birthdates. Therefore girl's birthdates in our family MUST be number co-ordinated right?!?!
So I was thinking of the full moon thing a couple days ago and on a lark Dan and I looked up our kids birthdates and the full moon schedule.
....whoa....
Gideon was born at 12:17am, 17 minutes AFTER a new moon day. So I labored all day on a new moon.
Claire was born ON a full moon.
Isaac was born on the 16th, the 17th was a new moon.
Sooooooo........
I'm looking forward to the 6th and 7th.
Also, Dan was born on the 19th, the 20th was a full moon.
Me... I missed a new moon by 6 days... so It must be something my kids get from their Dad.

Well, Karen, reading this blog has answered our question of when you are due. Thanks for the very interesting description of it. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival. Maybe not as anxiously as you, though. Love you, Mom & Dad
