Two new...

Claire lost her very first tooth! It has been loose for a couple weeks and Sunday it was soo wiggly that Dan offered to use a string and a door or even pliers to 'help out', she declined... smart girl. It happened at school, "in library!" she says. Hmmm, either she has started chewing on books again, or she is like all the other kids out there who wiggle their tooth back and forth incessantly when it is loose. And of course the tooth fairy was busy last night visiting the southern hemisphere so she will get to the northern hemisphere tonight and make her exchange.
So Claire is now experimenting with sucking her food through her toothless hole like her brother does...OH..what FUN... ;)
And the other new thing...Well, after crying, almost throwing up, loosing my gift card and finding it again (I got a gift card for my Birthday which spured this whole dilemma)and coming literally a breath away from canceling my hair appointment, I can now say its over. I did it. And guess what? I LOVE IT! Thank you Heavenly Father for hearing my tormented prayers... (And believe me with all the cyclones and earthquakes and storms lately I was feeling EXTREMELY vain to pray over, of all things, my hair!)(btw I have also been praying multiple times a day for the disaster victims and thanking him for my blessings and safety too.)
WOW that was nerve racking. And I am usually not one that freaks out over these things...I usually think, "Its just hair, it will grow, let's be adventurous!" But after my last two disaster haircuts...ok!...they weren't that bad actually but I really flipped out! After cutting off 12 inches I donated it to locks of love. I still don't mind donating my hair, that part was SUPER EASY, I just wigged out at the way my hair did NOT turn out like I expected or wanted. The second cut, to fix the first cut, was even worse! Well someone was watching over me this time. I really need to let go and let God more... YEEK!
