The one year leap

Last year when I was anxiously trying to go into labor and deliver Isaac we went to the tulip festivall and did a LOT of walking. One year and a few days later we are again in Mt. Vernon WA, basking in the dazzling colors, as well as the sun that inspired the trip by making a much longed for appearance. Though this year Isaac is in much less cramped quarters, and I have to say I like the shape of my waist much more this year! :) One of the things that was really fun this year is I took two digital cameras (because of Dan's work we have a few extra) and I gave one to Gid and one to Claire and let them at it... Many of the slide show pics were taken by them! One that I took is of Gideon with Claire in his hand... look for it. Gideon wanted to have that picture taken and so we set it up and it worked out great!

I love being able to check your blog, and that you're updating it regularly now! I feel more connected!

I'm glad for you that Isaac is in much less cramped quarters this year! (Imagine those elephants with their 22 months gestation!) You look great as always.

BTW, I couldn't see the slides, much to my disappointment...it said the slide show was empty. Boo hoo. Maybe I'll check back later.

Hi there Karen. I love your blog. Thanks for sharing the pictures. They are beautiful. How do I get copies of them. Especially your family photo. By the way have a happy birthday. Love you, mom

Wow! You got some great pictures with those pretty tulips. Good job Gideon & Claire!

Way to go Dan, for getting Scoutmaster of the year! The guys in your ward are lucky to have him.- Kevin just got released as 11 yr. old scout leader.

O, and I am impressed with your garden and orchard. Very cool. I just go over and steal my mom's tomatoes, bell peppers, berries, and whatever else I can find in her yard. She has everything growing. I did plant a few tree's, well actually my mom came over and did it for me, but I can't wait for peaches.
