Starting this years garden.

I've changed my garden plan this year.  I'm leaving out most of the tomatoes...I love them but they don't like the NW weather, or rather the NW weather doesn't allow me to harvest anything from them.  They grow great up until the rains start in the fall and then the blight wipes them out before harvest and all I get are blighted green tomatoes.  : (  So I'm only growing cherry tomatoes this time, which actually do quite well, and planting all kinds of other veggies!
I've planted most of what I'm gonna grow with the exception of my next plantings of lettuce, spinach and carrots.  I wanted to stagger them a bit to have a continued harvest.
The chard survived the winter and I've already harvested from them.
There is broccoli this time that is doing great, as well as the cabbage that are very happy plants...as long as I apply the slug bait!
I planted a bunch of onions this time as I use them so regularly.  I buried the potatoes too and hope for a better harvest this time as I've got them going earlier.
My herb garden is going gangbuster and I just LOVE it!
Here is rhubarb and chives,
I've also got peppermint/spearmint growing!
(Tea party anyone?!)
and here is my thyme and sage.  Still contemplating what elso to grow in this planter.

The sun is out today and giving me much hope for this year!
