Utah trip... SO late in posting about this!

For Conference weekend we went to Utah to spend time with family. The drive down was ...well, tedious, especially for Isaac.  His poor bottom was DONE by the time we reached the Utah border!  Dan was inspired to take our Expud, instead of a van we had planned on taking, (it had better gas mileage.) So when chains were required on Snoqualmie Pass and the Blues, we were in good shape with our 4wheel drive, which incidentally they didn't require to chain up.  We all felt safer! We spent Saturday Conference sessions with Dan's parents and family and had some good 'Felt'  dinner talk...i.e. this usually involves talk of gunshots, vomiting or other really gross stuff.  It was great, it felt like old times! ;) We also had alot of great things to comment on about Conference.  It was wonderful.
Then Sunday sessions we spent at my sister Susan's house and the kids had quite a time all together.
Here they decided they were all puppies.
 ................ok...?...............

We had some scrumptious crock pot dinner Susan is a master of, and had a general great time! I even got to see my brother Jacob and his son Ethan!

The next day was a free day at the Museum of Natural History at the UofU campus. So Audra and I took all 6 kids.
We went through pretty quickly, kids were running from one exhibit to the next. It was mayhem at it most fun.

I think the highlights were definitely the dinosaur section and the crystals.  The frog exhibit was also a thriller!
Afterward we all went outside on the lawn and had a picnic.
The youngest two boys were done first and decided to run,... and run ...and run...

Which is what helped them fall asleep on the way home.

All the other kids though were still wide awake and having fun!

The only down side of that day was the parking ticket Audra got.  Sorry Audra!

Dan spent a lot of time doing drywall for his Dad in one of the unfinished rooms in their basement.  He also worked a lot with his brother Brian who came down from Logan for a few days.  So for Dan it was a working holiday.
The trip back was uneventful, the snow was no longer a problem and we just drove and drove through the night so the kids would sleep through most of it...  We were trying to save them conscious hiney pain.  It mostly worked.  It was just so great to get to see family again.  Nothing like real face time!  We love you!
